Parties and Overnights
PARTIES:
Contact Terri at the front desk at 217-245-2141 to book a party or for more information.
We require 2-weeks notice in advance for a party. This way we can ensure enough lifeguards for safety of your party and other swimmers as well.
GYM/LOBBY/SWIM PARTY RENTAL:
_______Friday, 5:30-7:30 p.m. (Swim Time: 5:30-6.30 p.m.)
_______Saturday, 11:30-1:30 p.m. (Swim Time: 11:30-12.30 p.m.)
_______Total number of people to attend party - no more than 25 are allowed to swim at the same time
_______Age of people attending party (NOTE: for each 3 children age 5 and under, there must be 1 adult in the water with the children)
A $25 non-refundable reservation deposit is due at the time this contract is completed. The rental fee is due at the time of party. Please note that this contract does not give guests exclusive access to areas. Other members and guests will also be allowed in the pool, gym and lobby during these hours. Party guests must stay out of restricted areas.
Areas and equipment located in each area that are off limits to all party guests and hosts include: behind the front desk area and any computer use, the Child Watch; the Free-Weight Room; the Fitness Center; Men's and Women's Triangle Centers and the closet with equipment in Assembly Room.
The rental fee includes the use of the 6 tables with chairs in the lobby area or ABC Room close to the kitchen, kitchen access for designated refrigerator, and counter space.
In addition, access is permitted in the gymnasium, and pool and locker room areas during the designated times. One hour of swim time with two lifeguards is included. All pool rules and lifeguard instructions must be followed or swimmer(s) can be asked to leave the pool for their and other guests’ safety. Please be truthful in numbers so we can staff accordingly for swimmer safety, otherwise the person who is the Responsible Party Signature on this contract will be responsible for any additional costs incurred. In addition, any damage that may occur as a result of party will also be paid by the Responsible Party Signature on this contract.

In the event that you have to cancel your party reservation, the YMCA requires a 5-day notice in order to receive a full refund.

OVERNIGHT PACKAGE:
A $25 non-refundable reservation deposit is due at the time this contract is signed. The Overnight Rental Fee is due at the walk-though tour. A $300 damage deposit is due at the time of the walk-though tour which will be returned/shredded after your event if our building is left in satisfactory condition.
Upon planning your event, please schedule a tour of the YMCA 3-7 days before your event to familiarize you with what areas of the building should be used for particular activities and what areas are off-limits. At this time, we will confirm attendance numbers and YMCA policies.
The rental fee of $600 includes the use of the gymnasium, racquetball court, boys / girls locker rooms, assembly room, and lobby. Two hours of swim time with two lifeguards and one front desk staff also included. Each lifeguard can supervise up to 25 swimmers. Additional lifeguards are $50 per hour. All pool rules and lifeguard instructions must be followed, or swimmer(s) can be excluded from the pool for their safety. Please be truthful in numbers so we can staff accordingly for swimmer safety, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited to cover any additional costs incurred.

Areas and equipment located in each area that are off limits to all Overnight Guests and Hosts include: behind the front desk area and any computer use, the Child Watch; the Free-Weight Rooms; the Fitness Center; Men's and Women's Triangle Centers (including Spinning area); and the East Upstairs Hallway and East Staircase and attached areas and the closet with equipment in the Assembly Room.
In the event that you have to cancel your overnight reservation, the YMCA requires a 5-day notice in order to receive a refund. The reservation deposit of $25 but will not be refunded.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL pool rules and lifeguard instructions must be followed during overnights and parties or swimmers can be removed from the swimming pool for their own safety.
ALL PARTIES AND OVERNIGHTS ARE BOOKED IN ADVANCE WITH A PAID NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT TO HOLD THE DATE. (The deposit is deducted from the final cost. Final payment must be made the day of party before the party begins to the front desk.)
